About two weeks ago I had an MRI to look for kidney stones. I passed one about a month ago. Found in this test was I have an abdominal aortic aneurysm. This was found purely by accident. The shape and location is going to make this a complicated proceedure. I was told it would be around 5 hours. I have an operation scheduled for July 9th, Thursday, at St. Johns. I'll be in ICU for a couple of days then four or five days before I can go home. I'll be restricted in what I can do for about six weeks or so. I'm very lucky this was found early. This is something I'm not going to screw around with. Let's get er' done.
