Glen has been in and out of the hospital the last couple of days with some medical problems. He was there this morning and I don't know if he's still there or out. Please place him on the prayer list and lets get the word to the man upstairs. Glen's a great asset to our hobby.

Theres been a BIG BEAR out there that will sneak up on ya in this hot weather - Be careful, even if you are enjoying a nice creek. That reflected sunlight will heat up your head (for the snorklers out there) and mess you up before you know it.

I talked to Glen this morning and he is still having some problems. He said he would take all of the prayers we could send.

I talked to Glen today, he is a lot better but wife and daughter is not going to let him get out in that hot sun any time soon. The bear worked on our friend and got him severely dehydrated. Please remember to drink plenty of fluids (not carbonated or alcholic) when you are out in this 100 degree heat.

Thanks for the prayers y'all. This is a great group to be associated with. I tried to do too much and between sleep deprivation, dehydration, aspiration to the lungs, severe stress, and three seizures, I believe the Lord was trying to tell me to slow down. If you have good people to call on don't do what I did and end up in the hospital and out of work for several days. Use your common sense in this heat even if you are a type A personality or be a dummy like me.

Glenn, glad you are better and dont jump out there too fast and have a relapse. You aint no spring chicken no more and you gotta take better care of yourself (Ive got this line memorized from being told that by my family all the time - LOL!)

Glenn,
You're sure not a dummy.
As a kid growing up in Florida with no air-conditioning, I never thought the bear could get me, but I was on&off the tractor spraying fungicide that required full-suit and respirator.
It ended up, I had to go to the hospital and get an IV for about four hours to get rehydrated.
Good to hear your doing better!
Jesse

[QUOTE=Jes;3401]Glenn,
You're sure not a dummy.
As a kid growing up in Florida with no air-conditioning, I never thought

My air-conditioning as a kid was standing in front of the refrigerator with door open till my mom yelled at me. I would not ever want to do with out air-conditioning again, but can you imagine how today's kids would cope with out it? Also there were no pools in the back yards, we went to the creek for our swim.
