Please remember my Dad, Jimmy Dowdy, in your prayers. We found out late yesterday that he has Bladder cancer. We are waiting on CT scan results to insure that the cancer is confined to the bladder.

Looks like surgery in the next week or so. Thats a lot of tough news for Daddy in less than 3 weeks. Christmas this weekend for the first time without Mama. Please keep us all in your prayers. I really appreciate it.

I just heard from Kevin. He says the surgury went well. He will post later with the results after recovery.

Good report from the oncologist - appears all cancer was superficial (on surface) which means Daddy can probably keep his bladder. Will need another procedure in 4 weeks or so. Will start chemo treatment then as well. We are pleased the cancer did not appear to be deep rooted. Praise The Lord!
