After my father, Johnny Bailey lost his battle with bone cancer 4/1/08. My mother Sandra Bailey collasped 5 days after his funeral and was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Mom beat the odds and has lived two yrs longer than the Docs. gave her, and her strength and valiant effort has been something to behold until 18 days ago when I had to call 911. Please keep her in your prayers, it has been so hard for me and my two brothers and sister. This is a pic of mom after graduating from Mercer Pharmacy School in Atlanta at the age of 39, she turned 69 last mth. Thank you so much. David Bailey

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Mom passed at 2:15 this afternoon to go be with my dad. She is in pain no more. David

David, as someone who has lost both parents to cancer, I can sympathize with you. May God be with you and your family during this tough time. If it's any consolation, the pain does ease with time even though you never stop missing them.
