I have a real nice fossilized turtle spur I want to wear on my chain. I do'nt want any holers drilled in it. Do you think I should take it to a jewler and have wrapped in gold wire or something?

I made this piece of turtle bone in to a peace sign and had a freind gold electroform it for a setting. these are the natural lines in the bone, just work it down to where they looked right for the peace sign

You need to wear it with a tie-dyed shirt!!!LOL I still think i got one from back in the day around here somewhere

Thats neat. LOve the peace sign. If you think you could wrap this spur I will pay you and sen it to you. I will get it out of the attic today and try to post some pics of it. I have'nt posted pics on hear in a long time. I;m sure I will need to read up on it.

Please post additional pictures. That doesn't look to be a giant tortoise spur based on those pictures. Was it found in Florida?

Yes it was found by me at the Ruskin shell pit. If its not a spur whar are your thoughts on it?

I need to see additional pictures of it. It's definitely not a tortoise spur and it's not a sloth claw.

Based on the pictures that I've seen, it does not resemble a bear claw core.

I've got it. Tell them that it is a very rare and prehistoric "hen's tooth". It came from the Common Hen-Way.
