Great Show in Dothan

Just got back from Dothan and the show was great. It was our first show and there was a ton of super nice stuff there to see. Hopefully everyone had an opportunity to get by there and drool. I know we did. There were a couple of guys there Knapping and my son talked about them the whole way back to Thomasville. One of the guys gave him a beautiful Hernando that we watched him make. It was also finally nice to put some faces with the names. Thanks again for a super show. TW

WOW, love that frame with the killer Savannah's in it! Lots of pottery there too. I should have made the drive over there, instead of working all day!

Just walking past this table scared the crap out of me! LOL! This many round bottom pots this close to the edge of the table?!? The whole show I kept waiting to hear that horrible crash, followed by that deafening oh sh@* silence. Never happened though.

This was my first show ever, and i have to say it was off the chain!!! wish i coulda met some more folks but my eyes were GLUED to the cases :D

PS: KYLE you happened to catch the back of my dads bald head and my fairly short mother in one of your pictures hahaha :p

Thats funny Dannymac. I thought the same thing the whole time I was there. I kept waiting on the crash. From the looks of the values on some of those piece, I would not have had them sitting that close to the edge of the tables. There were some "off the chain" vessels there. Wish I had one even close to whole. TW

that abbey in the center of the right frame on the third post came from a creek about five miles from my house. uncle dink found it and one more base from the same material about thirteen years ago. the base and one ear was restored on that one and it is very flat and THIN....................benji

Dad asked me to tell everyone,"THANK YOU so very much to all that displayed, helped out, or just showed up at this year's show". We all had a great time & are already making plans for next year's show. I'll try to get his pictures loaded soon & will let you know when they are up. Troy told me today next year's show is August 20th. People are already booking tables so if you want one you'd better go ahead and book it. He's close to 100 already.
