I have looked around at some better motels in the Albany, Georgia area and I have talked with the Hampton Inn and got them down to a $70.00 plus tax rate. The catch is that we need to book at least 15 rooms. Room is for Friday Oct. 1

David, please let us know if you have done any local advertising to let the general public know. Someone told me today that there hadnt been any advertising in the Albany area. I am sure thats probably misinformation, but I was sure you wanted to clarify that.

I plan on running these adds in the local papers and handing out fliers for a little more advertisement.
There should be some really nice points and other artifacts at the show and I am hoping on a good turn out.
Oct. 2 should be before deer season (gun) so that will be a plus for sure.

Just talked with HARLIN and he was talking about an "EPIC" Preshow.

I'm sure he will post something about it on here soon.

I have sold 53 tables so far so things are looking good. Let me know if you want a table they are starting to fill up. I will have about 63 8 foot tables and probably 30 6 footers. First come first serve on the 8 foot tables. Thanks for the help with the show.

Things are coming together. I have got 66 tables sold as of right now. I would love to see at least 75. (I think we were right at 75 tables last year and we still had a little room.)
So if you know anyone who may want a table tell them to give me a call.
And remember that we have a reduced rate at the Hampton Inn for you out of towners that will be driving down the night before.

As of now I have 68 tables

We will have knappers, collectors, and artwork at the show.

Phiny Musgrove‏ will have some beauitiful carved gords at the show I will post some pictures tomorrow.

Yeah she is really tallented. If anyone has any good close up pictures of pottery designs please post them. Mrs. Phiney wants to carve a gord to look like a piece of ancient pottery. But she needs some pictures. She was going to look online but I told her to wait and I would get here some examples from around here so it would look similar to some of the stuff we are used to seeing.

I promised the kids I would take them skating so they were bugging me to leave. I made a couple of trips to every table and was out of there. Thanks to everyone who came out. I really enjoyed the show. There were some extremly nice collections displayed. The show seems to be growing. Maybe next year we will have a 100 table show, we weren't too far from it this year with around 70 - 75 tables. Nice pictures in the other thread Kevin.....

hell, i did not even want kandy. they can leave that at the single-wide. $800 tip ding points for $3,500 ?! BLAAAHAA!!! take those stupid rox rite back to the "house". however there is a good part- that make my collection worth triple what i thought it was (unless i wanted to actually convert it into gree, USD). i did make some killer buys @ the show and sold a few from my table. but the dreamers still came thru . and took there ROX -not cash- back "home". go big or go home- you guys did BOTH. oh, by the way you can post pix on this site w/ o a link- it is not a real complicated process.
