I post this message with a heavy heart... Nikki Powell passed away last night at 11:30. She had returned from a Chemo session Tuesday in B'Ham and developed a staff infection in her lungs and fought hard till last night... Please keep Ken and Bonnie in your prayers as they get through the pain.

I want to thank everyone, that has thought about and prayed for Nikki this past year. Her strength, and our prayers and support help her and her parents more than you can ever imagine...

Sorry to hear that. Her long battle was not for her, but for everyone she touched.
Everything is planned out, were just along for the ride!

it does suck... She had 12 iron horses lead her hearse to the cemetery tonight, I will always remember the sound of the Harleys when they pulled away...

There is a lot of wrong things in this world, but the most worse of it all is when a parent buries his child...

I came home tonight and held my sons tight and told God thanks. I hope I never take any moment I can spend with my kids for granted. I can not even begin to imagine the pain Ken and Bonnie feel at this moment... I just hope they remain strong, and don't fall into covering the pain with substance... I pray they will continue to look to God, he understands, after all he gave his son to die.

This is the update I did not want to hear. My deepest sympathy to Nikki's family...burying a child has got to be the most painful thing in life to go through.
