I'm really looking forward to this show. I've never been to one before, so this will be my first. Already told my wife to mark it on the calender.

Hope to put some faces to names while there.

Is there a way to know who (of those with displays) are from here?

Bill,
I have you down for 3.

Rick,
Some of the people from this forum that will have tables are:

lafuzz (Richard R.)
Megateeth (Bill E.)
flflint (Allen H.)
Fdock (John F.)
Corner Notch (David G.)
These are the just ones I can think of off the top of my head, I may have forgotten a few.

Great, I am going to try to get there early this year. It is always a decision to make a dive early or leave early and the dive usually wins out. This year with the weather I may just leave early.

Bill,
I have you down for 3.

Yeah, the weather so far this year has been awful. We'll be at the Howard Johnson on Friday night, come by and say "hey".

well I guess I wont sell coral cabs there, lol. Nate I ran out of those flyers you gave me Sun. morning. Alot of locals were there at the Sopchoppy knap-in and I had all that tumbled coral on the table which attracted alot of kids . They seemed excited , I told them if they had any fossils or points to bring them to the show for an I.D.

The Howard Johnson is getting close to selling out for Friday night. If you want to stay there, you need to call them soon!! The number is 850-386-5000. The rate on their website for nonsmoking is $55.69 for a king, or 63.28 for two doubles.

JC, I could spare a couple feet of one of my tables if that would help. I would like to see those coral cabs anyway.

thanks fdock, thats real cool of you. Nate saidd if I was going up he would find a spot as well for me. I have a good problem though, I sold most of my cabs at the Sopchoppy knap-in. I`m trying like heck to get another frame filled now. I dont like to rush my work though. I`m making a mastodon tooth pendant right now, not the whole tooth just some of the enamel. heres some that I took and sold most of at the knap-in, this first one was a waste flake from a knapper I made a cab out of it, its flint ridge from Ohio, I have in here coral and Horse Creek pet wood owyee pic jasper and other stuff. I cant even keep up with them.I have trade coral for the past few years for other peoples rock, cool stuff.

My first artifact show. Full of nice people and well worth the trip from Panama City.

Any thoughts of doing a show in Panama City? If so, I will be happy to share my insight of potential locations if needed.

I wish I had gotten the name (if he is on here) of a guy I talked to Saturday afternoon. He had some beautiful coral points that came from the Tampa area. He had long black/gray hair and was located in the south-east part of the building. He talked to me about flint knapping too and provided some great information. Of course everyone I talked to was more than happy to share their knowledge.

Great Show Nate!!! The public really poured in this time and it was great to have the whole room filled with tables again.I think Rocky's acquisition of some of the old Curtis Grey collection stoled the show for me.That Osceola Greenbrier was incredible and has to be one of the best ever found.I hope someone has a pic to post of it.Thanks Again for all your efforts.

A Panama City show would be awesome Rick. You and John should get one going. How is Lance Spivey doing?

You may have me confused with another Rick from this area. I'm the one who has a pitiful collection and doesn't know much about anything. :)

I'd still be happy to work with John to get a show here in PC, though.

I only took a couple of shots a a few points while I was there the other week.I`ll go back next week, I need to look at a few things over there anyways. Rick is a super nice guy and like I said is rarely home, always on the road or a river. The top pic is a sperm whale tooth that Claude carved for Rick recently before Claude moved
