sand chip, can u tell us a little more history of the flask....i know nothing about bottles

Man, I really don't know anything more than what we see on the bottle. It looks like it probably would date 1875-1890, but I'm sorta guessing without the top. Wish I could tell you more, but it's from my general area and with cool embossing, so that's about all I need for an excuse to want one!:)

Thanks, Newt. Some nice little tidbits there. Ironic, to say the least, if the bottle reads "STANDS HEA(T)", that Mr. Bethune lost his business to a fire.
