johnny sez he'll gimmie a ride, since a cab service will NOT be running from motel 2 party. yo johnny- how many people can we cram in yer car as there are lots of folks who are thinking exactly like me- not worth a dui, but still wanna go 2 party? but may otherwise preshow @ motel if no ride is available. after all it'll be fri. nite and KOLD ONES WILL be cracked. got room 4 a cooler? or can we just dump ice where the backseat USED 2 B (as we will have most likely ripped it out by then in a drunken rage). just how much ice CAN we get where that backseat used2 b?! and what if i pick up some hotties? will u give them a ride back 2 motel, too?

Wow ! I never even knew Kenny had a band or played music ? Cool.
I talk to Kenny at every show about points and now I can talk some music with him.

Glenn and Rick are this year's front end hosts. Please, let them know if you need assistance in carrying or displaying your frames after arrival!
We are currently preparing burgers for twenty. Let us know if you would like to join us for a homemade burger and we'll put you on the list! If your arriving late we'll set you back a plate!!
We are expecting significantly more folks this year and are grateful to Kenny for helping to provide us with "live" music. Thanks, to Mr. Couey we will have some of the finest artifacts recovered from the Deep South on display. This party is open to all! We encourage men to bring their wives, daughters or girlfriends as this is "not" a men only event!
Our "Thanks" to Chris, Cindy, Drew, Phil, Tom, AJ and Joe for helping us make significant improvements to prepare for "our" (yours too!) party by: excavating & grading, building flower beds, installing railroad ties, planting bushes, laying concrete pavers, laying sod and building a small wood deck!

Yeah music. I love music and my son wants to learn to play guitar. It's cool to hear and see someone live that can really play the guitar. I'll get enough arrowheads talk at the show all day Saturday.

The party is gaining momentum and coming together with the help of both collectors and non-collectors alike. Our projected attendance has swelled and a significant amount of women have been invited. We will be featuring the “Couey Collection” and are preparing to make use of the garage as a display room. We also plan to display a large backlit frame containing some of the most outstanding examples of translucent coral known!
Thankfully, a significant number of the "old guard" are planning to attend! It is critical that the information that these long time collectors possess be shared with less experienced folks.
Please, note that all of the proceeds from the Gainesville Artifact Show on June 6th, after expenses, benefit the SSAS. It is due in large part to the efforts of Hugh McKenzie that we have a fun show to enjoy and he this years guest of honor! It is also important to acknowledge that there are many folks who have sacrificed time and sweat to help promote our hobby including show hosts: Allen, Curty, Dowdy, Fuller, Harvey, Hyde, Novak, Trammel etc.
Thank you, Patricia (Pat) and Brian for your assistance in preparing a safe clean place for everyone!
It is both humbling and heartening to report that a number of you have offered to bring side dishes, soft drinks, beer etc. Please, feel free to bring sides dishes to share!
We are also in need of additional folding tables, table cloths, fans and tiki torches!
We look forward to seeing you.

hope the cops don't show up when i start spinnin' rave @ the tune 6,000 watts- johnny hope u got room for 4 bass cabs, 4mids, 2hi's, 4 crown macrotechs+ 24 chan. mackie board, + 200 lbs. ice + keg & cups- all in back seat/trunk. u may as well rent a box truck to haul all this stuff +double as cab/limo.

We look forward to seeing each and every one of you as you are welcome wanted and needed! Soon we shall gather and meet as friends with the common goals of: eating, drinking, appreciating artifacts, enjoying live music and promoting the dissemination of knowledge!
You are welcome to buy and sell and trade here should you choose to continue building your artifact and fossil collections. Obviously, we specialize in finds from Florida and Jacky, Johnny, Kenny and Nate will all have quality material available here for sale.
All of us are committed to sharing what knowledge that we have with you in order to help ensure your current and future collecting success!
Fresh pulled pork BBQ and steak burgers will be available for those of you who have expressed your intention to eat with us and we look forward to the side dishes, vegetables and desserts that you may bring!
For those of you who are unable to be with us we encourage you to attend next year.
