SEAL Cache

Almost every collector would like to find a cache of points, and this SE ALabama cache of Morrow Mountain/Flint River blades was found all stacked together, somehow escaping the plow. What you see here is quite informative to the progression of blade manufacture, which would make a very interesting and informative display. Made of high grade coastal plains chert, these are all in various stages of completion and are not quite "finished" with the fine retouch that would have been the final steps. Makes one wonder what kept the ancient maker from retrieving these from their hiding spot, as they were so close to utilization.

Really nice relics, especially considering the less than $60 apiece average, if bought as a cache.
